I have been working on this commission little by little over a couple months because of my crazy schedule but finally finished.

also tales 59 will be available for pre-order in a week or so, so if your interested in picking it up please think about pre-ordering since very few comic shops will actually order tmnt books unless someone specifically does so. barnes and noble had pre-orders for 56 so I assume they will do the same for 59 so you could pre-order online

did this a little while ago and just don't really have time to do much more with it but experimenting with different color techniques i'd like to do more coloring that shows the "strokes" of the color like paint

Micachu and the Shapes: punky dark avant-grime pop

Micachu aka Mica Levi is a pretty brilliant little youngster from the uk
just doing some awesome music, noisy dark grime like stuff by way of punkish like elements including the short energetic songs.
check out her debut album She /her band is called Micachu and the Shapes, they just released "jewellery" i really love turn me well , curly teeth, golden ,phone do some gogling you can find full songs streaming to listen to then check out how she remixes sometimes mediocre songs and makes them great, check out the "vuitton blues" then listen to the micachu remix

TMNT STUFF

tales of tmnt 56 and tales of tmnt 59 have kept me VERY busy there's a complete walthrough from rough to color comp on the cover for tales 59 and a sneak peek at some of 56 which will be out in a couple months

My First Animation

I had so much fun doing this for the titmouse studio 5 sec animation day. I REALLY love animation , and seeing the drawings come to life. I used pencil homebrew, then timed it in flash and my multi-disciplined talented buddy Keith Yan http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadowedlab/ put the sound together

bottom pieces: dave johnson did some cool cardboard illustrations so i gave it a shot awhile back
piece is troo big too scan and the lighting was horrible so crappy photo
when i take it home someday i'll take a better pic i have a better detail coming

Rider

i had this simple idea after seeing this motor cyclist with a silver helmet

the look is a very typical Japanese hero type of thing but I was surprised when I watched red baron, an old Japanese giant robot show (live action) to see the villains were almost identical to this black suits, silver gloves and boots but they had a cooler more alien robot head

i like this even though it's kind of creepy

just toying around with making some photoshop brushes, looking to replicate that painterly look and texture of colors scrubbed into and onto other colors
