Falling Oaks strips

Thanks for the folks out there who have been keeping up with my blog and have taken the time to let me know your out there! Most of the time I feel like I'm just doing this for myself, but I will also try to be a little more interactive. There deosnt seem to be a way to reply directly to comments so you know I've replied...is there? These are from my hiatusified strip Welcome to Falling Oaks. http://fallingoaks.com I really had fun doing it and it was a great way to learn and experiment with storytelling, mood pacing color lighting and stuff I hope to bring into my own graphic novels later on. Very soon I'm gonna sit down and write some new episodes, i think it has a very interesting overall story. I'll talk about it more but i think theres some info about it out there at least there used to be

I'm really looking forward to the new madhouse series and the tatsunoko vs capcom game!
Casshan's design is deceptively simple very elegant and quite powerful, i like him lots

The ink version of the painting I did awhile back. I used nylon pentel aquash pens which are refillable Japanese calligraphy pens. I still really like the technique I was inking a lot back then
